James
T. Scalise is a litigator and practices primarily in the areas of civil, commercial
and criminal litigation. Mr. Scalise also has significant experience in real
estate, corporate and commercial transactions.
He
received a law degree from Brooklyn Law School and is a
cum laude graduate of Long Island University. He is admitted to practice law
before the Courts of the State of New York, as well as the United States District
Courts for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the
District of Connecticut. Mr. Scalise is also admitted to practice before the
New Jersey State and Federal Courts.
Mr. Scalise has served as a small claims court arbitrator, an evaluator under Article 81 of the Mental Health Law, counsel to several cooperative corporations and businesses and a lecturer for the Council of New York Cooperatives and the Council of Westchester Cooperatives and Condominiums. He has also served on the Town of Eastchester Zoning Board of Appeals. Mr. Scalise is a member of the Westchester and American Bar Associations and the Columbian Lawyers Association of Westchester County.
